Waterside Pat Testing Ltd Terms & Conditions

PROCEDURE/PERFORMANCE

All portable appliance testing is to be carried in accordance with the Health and Safety At Work Act.

Waterside Pat Testing Ltd carries out work with reference to IET Code of Practice 5th Edition.

All items/equipment to be tested shall be made available and accessible during agreed time period for portable appliance testing.

Waterside Pat Testing Ltd is not responsible for items missed or not tested during this time.

Should the customer require additional items to be tested an additional charge may be incurred.

Waterside Pat Testing Ltd is entitled to assign the whole or part of its obligations to sub-contractors without prior consent of the customer.

On attending site engineers shall be briefed by the appropriate person regarding health and safety issues, fire drills and exits and other procedures. The customer shall provide adequate personal protective equipment as required.

Any dates quoted for services are approximate.

Waterside Pat Testing Ltd shall not be liable for any delay in services however caused.

Time shall not be of priority over services unless specified.

Waterside Pat Testing Ltd is not responsible for any interruption of mains supply to the customer’s premises.

Waterside Pat Testing Ltd accepts no liability for loss of data, damage to or function of equipment, personal injury or death however caused.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

If the customer has more than one premise where work is to be carried out additional charges will be incurred per premises unless otherwise agreed with Director.

The customer may incur additional charges with regards to vehicle parking fees without prior notice if no parking is available on Site.

PAYMENT

Cleared Payment is required within 7 days of service being provided.

Late fees may be applied to invoice in accordance with Statutory Interest. Charges in relation to debt recovery (as specified by UK law) will be applied.

Test results will not be released until full payment is received.

WARRANTIES

Waterside Pat Testing Ltd warrants to the customer that services will be provided using reasonable care and skill.

Where Waterside Pat Testing Ltd supplies materials by way of a third-party Waterside Pat Testing Ltd does not give any warranty or guarantee or other term as to their fitness for purpose or otherwise.
